Telangana HC Chief Justice among three recommended for Supreme Court

The Supreme Court Collegium on September 28 recommended three High Court chief justices for elevation to the apex court, including Telangana HC Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh.

The other two names are Gujarat HC Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Delhi HC Chief Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya.

Justice Singh, who has served the Jharkhand and Tripura high courts and took oath in Telangana in July 2025, still awaits formal appointment by the Centre.
