Analysts told CNBC TV18 that gold and silver are expected to trade range-bound with a slightly positive bias this week, with rupee weakness cushioning domestic bullion prices.

MCX December gold futures gained nearly 1% last week to settle at ₹1.51 lakh per 10 grams; Comex gold gained 1.3% to close at $4,216.3 an ounce.

Traders will track inflation readings from India, China and the US this week for fresh direction on the US Federal Reserve's next move — the key driver for global bullion.
