Hyderabad traffic police will shut several city flyovers from 10 pm on Tuesday in connection with night-time observances, with diversions in place across central stretches.

The closures take effect late Tuesday night and are tied to the night-time observances, when heavy pedestrian and vehicle movement is expected around places of worship.

The Greenland's flyover, the PVNR Expressway and the Langer Houz flyover will remain open, giving motorists alternatives — while the Necklace Road stretch will also stay closed to prevent congestion.

Commuters have been advised to plan night travel in advance and follow on-ground diversions issued by traffic police.
