IREC 2026 inaugurated at HITEX; India hosts global real-estate conference for the first time
The seventh International Real Estate Conference opened at HITEX, Hyderabad on Saturday, with India hosting the global property summit for the first time.
More than 2,000 delegates from over 35 countries are attending the three-day conference, inaugurated by Dubai Land Department's Majid Saqer Al Marri; NAR president Kevin Brown opened the Luxury Property Expo.
The NAR–CRE Matrix India Housing Report released at the event pegged primary housing sales in Tier-1 cities at Rs 3.63 lakh crore in the first half of 2026, with 2.58 lakh units sold and launches up about 7 per cent.
