Javelin double podium for India: Yash Vir Singh silver, Rohit Yadav bronze

India secured a historic double podium in the men's javelin throw at the Asian Games 2026 on Monday.

Yash Vir Singh took silver with a personal-best 85.72m on his final attempt, while Rohit Yadav claimed bronze with 84.35m.

Sri Lanka's Rumesh Pathirage won gold with 88.55m.
