Jio Platforms IPO opens October 21; anchor bidding on October 19

The offering could raise up to $3.2 billion at a valuation of about $108.3 billion — India's largest IPO to date.
Jio Platforms' initial public offering will open for subscription on October 21 and close on October 23, with anchor investor bidding on October 19. The company has reserved shares worth up to ₹500 crore for eligible employees and ₹2,500 crore for eligible Reliance Industries shareholders.
Reuters reported that the digital arm of the Mukesh Ambani-founded group plans to raise up to $3.2 billion, which would make it India's largest IPO to date. The indicated price band of ₹1,065 to ₹1,119 per share values the group at about $108.3 billion.
The mega-listing comes amid robust primary-market activity that traders say has been diverting liquidity from the secondary market. How the issue is subscribed will be a key sentiment marker for Dalal Street in the weeks ahead.
