Dinesh Karthik worries one-sided T20Is are 'not a good sign' after India's romp

Former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has raised concerns about the lack of competitive balance in the T20I series after India's eight-wicket demolition of the West Indies in Lucknow, questioning whether flat pitches are killing the contest.
Karthik noted that all three preceding ODIs were one-sided and high-scoring too: '172 is a good, decent score, but very easily chased down... That worries me for the long run; that is not a good sign.'
His prescription is surfaces that give spinners something to work with — 'we love our superstars and we all want them to score a lot of runs, but we also want competition.'
The series now moves to Ranchi, a relatively low-scoring venue that has never seen 200 breached in a T20I — a natural test of his thesis.
