CM unveils bronze statue of Manmohan Singh at Wipro Circle, Gachibowli
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Saturday unveiled a bronze statue of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at Wipro Circle in Gachibowli, on the late economist-statesman's birth anniversary.
Officials at the ceremony credited Singh and the UPA government with formally setting in motion the process that led to the creation of Telangana.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge also paid tributes to the former Prime Minister.
