'The Paradise' crosses Rs 119.50 crore worldwide in three days

Nani's period action drama 'The Paradise' crossed Rs 119.50 crore in worldwide gross within three days of its September 24 release.

The film collected Rs 15.25 crore net in India on Saturday — up 2.3 per cent on Friday — taking the India net total to Rs 76.40 crore, with Rs 29 crore from overseas; Saturday saw 6,889 shows at 33 per cent occupancy.

Trade watchers say the film's weekday stability will decide its final run; the Hindi version has been weak, contributing Rs 2.10 crore so far.
