Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 releases on October 15, followed by Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's Ranabaali on October 16, headlining a busy theatrical week.

Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, carrying a U/A 16+ certification into its October 15 release — one of the biggest Tamil openings of the year.

Ranabaali, the period action drama marking the first on-screen pairing of real-life couple Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna since their marriage, opens October 16 alongside Crazy Kalyanam, Garividi Lakshmi and Entha Chitram Katha.

The back-to-back releases set up one of the season's biggest box-office clashes across Tamil and Telugu cinema.
