Houthi missile strike on Riyadh airport kills 12, including an American; Trump weighs US response

A missile fired by Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi fighters slammed into the passenger terminal of King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, killing 12 people and wounding more than 300, Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority said.
Four Saudi citizens were among the dead, along with nationals of the US, Egypt, Jordan, Sudan and Bangladesh and one Palestinian. Witnesses described people fleeing as plumes of black smoke rose over the airport; flights were temporarily suspended and the injured were taken to several hospitals, some in critical condition.
It was the third attack on the airport this week and the deadliest on a Gulf Arab country since the Iran war began in February. Asked whether Washington would help Riyadh retaliate, President Trump left the door open: “We may,” he told reporters. “We just found out about the recent attack, so we’ll make a decision. We move very quickly.”
