Sunny Deol unveiled the teaser of 'Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak' on his 69th birthday; the medical-system crime thriller hits theatres on November 20.

Sunny Deol celebrated his 69th birthday on October 19 with a special treat for fans: the teaser of his upcoming crime thriller 'Suryaa: Ant Se Aarambh Tak'. Directed by M. Padmakumar and inspired by true events, the film is scheduled for a theatrical release on November 20. The 77-second teaser opens with an angry monologue about malpractice and exploitation in the healthcare system.

Deol plays Soorya Pratap Singh, a grieving father whose personal tragedy pulls him into a disturbing investigation of the medical establishment. The teaser frames the story as a probe into alleged unnecessary tests and pay-for-referral commissions, a theme the makers describe as based on unbelievable true events without naming a specific case. The film is a Hindi remake of Padmakumar's 2018 Malayalam thriller Joseph, and co-stars Ravi Kishan and Pragya Jaiswal.

The ensemble also includes Tinu Anand, Manish Wadhwa, Jisshu Sengupta and Virti Vaghani, with the film produced under the MM Moviez banner and music on Zee Music Company. Director Padmakumar said the aim was to present Deol in an emotional space audiences have not seen him in, mixing grief and restraint with his trademark intensity.
