Shai Hope smashed an unbeaten 102 off 50 balls and Keemo Paul claimed 5 for 41 as the West Indies beat India by 24 runs in the fourth T20I, setting up a winner-takes-all decider in Bengaluru on Saturday.

West Indies posted 247 for 3 after being asked to bat, with Hope reaching his hundred with a six off the final delivery. Sherfane Rutherford's unbeaten 49 off 26 balls powered an unbroken 91-run stand from 43 balls.

India's chase of 248 began in a blaze: Sanju Samson raced to a half-century off 20 deliveries, and a late 70-run stand between Nitish Kumar Reddy and Tilak Varma kept the hosts in the hunt.

But Paul's three-wicket burst in the 19th over broke the back of the chase, and India were bowled out for 223 in 19.3 overs. It was India's first-ever T20I defeat in Hyderabad.
