BRS protests at Telangana CEO office, demands CEC's resignation over voter deletions

The Bharat Rashtra Samithi took its voter-roll agitation to the Telangana Chief Electoral Officer's office in Hyderabad on Saturday, staging a demonstration over alleged large-scale deletions under the special intensive revision.
The party demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and an inquiry supervised by a sitting Supreme Court judge into deletions it claims targeted BRS-held constituencies.
With the Congress holding its own ‘Chalo Lok Bhavan’ march on the same demand, Hyderabad has become a second front in the national voter-roll controversy — and the BRS says it will carry the campaign to Delhi next.
