CARE Hospitals marked World Heart Day on September 29 with awareness walks at its Hitec City, Malakpet and Musheerabad facilities, joined by doctors, nurses, staff and community members.
The walks were part of the hospital's 'Time to Break Up' campaign urging people to quit smoking, unhealthy food, prolonged sitting and poor sleep.
At Hitec City participants completed a 2 km walk, while the Musheerabad walk started at CARE Hospitals and proceeded to Gandhi Hospital and back.
