US food-delivery company DoorDash has opened a global technology hub in Hyderabad with about 500 employees initially, serving global markets. The centre is expected to grow past 3,000 professionals in two years. It is the company's third global support hub after Tempe and Mexico City.

US food-delivery company DoorDash has opened a global technology hub in Hyderabad, starting with around 500 employees handling customer support and administrative operations for global markets.

The centre is expected to grow to more than 3,000 professionals over the next two years, marking another big jobs win for the city's tech corridor.

It is DoorDash's third global customer-support hub after Tempe, Arizona and Mexico City, and its second India tech office alongside Pune.
