E3 Electric.Ai has commenced production of its intelligent electric scooter, the E3 TRION, at its Hyderabad manufacturing plant, with customer deliveries beginning October 7 — the company's second anniversary.

The TRION comes in three variants — C1, C1X and C2 — aimed at youngsters, families and business users, with claimed ranges of 108 to 165 km and six colours including Nova Blue and Solar Red.

Before production, the scooter passed more than 550 design-validation tests, accelerated durability trials with a 205 kg payload, water-wading tests up to 300 mm, and a 260 km mixed-terrain road run between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal.

The Hyderabad plant marks the startup's first big manufacturing footprint — a bet that the city's auto ecosystem can anchor its scale-up.
