Free Fire India launches on Android and iOS with parental consent for under-18s, playtime limits and India-based servers.

Garena has officially launched Free Fire India on Google Play and the Apple App Store, with parental consent required for players under 18, playtime limits and India-based servers.

The launch, timed with a Diwali campaign running until November 15, brings back one of India's most popular mobile battle-royale titles in a version built for local rules.

The return follows years of anticipation among mobile gamers, and the India edition's safeguards are aimed at answering long-running concerns about young players' screen time.
