Tilak Varma leads India's push for a series-sealing win in Wellington's third T20I, with Ishan Kishan still sidelined.

India will look to seal the T20I series against New Zealand in the third encounter in Wellington, holding a 2-0 lead in the five-match series with in-form middle-order batter Tilak Varma at the centre of the plans.

The absence of Ishan Kishan, ruled out with an adductor strain, adds another challenge for India, while New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner remains a key threat with his left-arm spin.

India's 2-0 advantage was built on back-to-back wins, and a third straight victory would put the series beyond New Zealand's reach with two matches still to play.
