IT searches 12 Bollywood locations over suspected tax evasion
Mumbai Income Tax department teams carried out simultaneous searches at 12 locations on Monday linked to Bollywood producers and stars, including Panorama Studios, Drishyam 3 producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani, actress Rakul Preet Singh and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar.
The probe centres on suspected tax evasion and alleged overseas fund transfers routed as film production costs and international distribution expenses.
