A busy week awaits Dalal Street: the Fed's rate decision, the Jio Platforms listing and a rush of big quarterly results.

Indian markets enter the final trading week of October under renewed pressure, with an unusually busy week ahead: the US Federal Reserve announces its rate decision, Jio Platforms is scheduled to list, and India releases industrial production data.

Last week the Nifty 50 slipped back to 22,600 and the Sensex to 73,123.83, with small-cap stocks hit especially hard and Brent crude ending the week above $116 a barrel.

Heavyweight companies including L&T, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma and BEL report quarterly numbers through the week.
