Rajiv Rai says Mohra's re-release is single-screens only and no clash with Ramayana, touring centres over six months.

Director Rajiv Rai has clarified that the 1994 Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon starrer Mohra will be re-released only in single screens, dismissing talk of a clash with Ramayana: Part 1.

Rai said Mohra will tour different centres across the country over six months or so, and may not even release in Mumbai, with high multiplex ticket prices and Virtual Print Fees making older films unviable on big chains.

The filmmaker added that repeat-run films are watched widely already, so the re-release is a limited exercise rather than a box-office play, though collections can add up over a long tour.
