Ramayana has crossed Rs 5.15 crore in advance bookings with 88,300 opening-day tickets sold, two weeks before its November 5 release. The Ranbir Kapoor-Sai Pallavi epic is seeing strong early pre-sales in NCR and Maharashtra.

Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Part 1 continued its strong early momentum at the box office even two weeks before release, with advance bookings crossing the Rs 5.15 crore gross mark as of 11:30 am IST on October 22. The film has sold 88,300 opening-day tickets, with the National Capital Region and Maharashtra leading pre-sales.

A reported dispute over revenue-sharing between distributors and exhibitors had earlier delayed the wider rollout, so the current figures come from a limited set of premium-multiplex shows and may not yet reflect full demand. Bookings are expected to pick up once remaining cinema chains finalise their listings.

The mythological epic stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, with Sunny Deol as Hanuman and music by A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. It releases worldwide on November 5, with the second part planned for Diwali 2027; West Bengal has already made it tax-free in the state.
