Ramayana is expected to open paid previews on November 4, while a new poster unveiled Arun Govil — who immortalised Lord Ram on television — as King Dashrath.

The paid-preview plan on November 4 sets up an early verdict on the most ambitious mythological mount in recent Hindi cinema before its full release.

Govil's casting as Dashrath is a full-circle moment — the actor whose face defined Ram for a generation now plays the father of the new incarnation.

The film remains Bollywood's biggest bet of the season, and every poster drop is engineered to keep the conversation at fever pitch.
