The Andhra Pradesh batter, who played three ODIs and 17 T20Is for India, retires at 30 and says she will mentor young cricketers.

Andhra Pradesh batter Sabbhineni Meghana brought her playing career to a close on Friday, announcing her retirement from all formats of cricket at 30.

Meghana turned out for India in three ODIs and 17 T20Is, and was part of the silver-medal side at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. On the franchise front, she played for Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, winning the WPL title with RCB in 2024.

She said stepping away from playing did not mean stepping away from cricket, and vowed to mentor the next generation of cricketers.
