TGHRC orders NIMS to clear pending pension dues

The Telangana Human Rights Commission has directed the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences to clear long-pending pension dues of its retired staff.
The Commission acted on complaints that retirees have been waiting for months — in some cases longer — for dues they earned over decades of service at one of the state's premier public hospitals.
NIMS has been asked to settle the arrears within a stipulated period and report compliance back to the Commission.
The order is the latest reminder that pension delays at public institutions are not just an administrative lapse — the rights body treats them as a human-rights issue.
