Bombay High Court adjourns Imran Khan's plea against the leave-India notice after the Centre assures no coercive action till November 2.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday adjourned actor Imran Khan's plea against a 'Leave India Notice' directing him to leave India by October 28 for participating in the anti-CEC protests, after the Centre assured that no coercive action would be taken till November 2.

A division bench of Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Justice Advait Sethna is hearing the plea, with the next hearing set for November 2.

Khan had challenged the notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office, Mumbai, arguing that it followed his participation in protests over the Election Commission.
