Akshay Kumar's 1994 cult action hit Mohra returns to cinemas in a 4K remaster on November 6, a day after Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana Part One opens. The unlikely clash pits 1990s nostalgia against one of Indian cinema's most ambitious new epics, with more classic re-releases also planned.

Mohra, directed by Rajiv Rai, originally starred Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Naseeruddin Shah and Paresh Rawal.

The re-release trend has gathered pace as exhibitors look to nostalgia titles to fill screens around big new releases.
