Zelensky says US intelligence sharing 'works now' after Oslo talks

After 'very productive' talks in Oslo with US envoy Steve Witkoff, President Zelensky said American intelligence sharing on Russian missile attacks is working again.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said US intelligence sharing with Ukraine on Russian missile strikes is working again, after what he called 'very productive' talks in Oslo with US special envoy Steve Witkoff. The meeting appears to have cooled days of friction between Kyiv and Washington over claims that intelligence had been withheld.
Zelensky said the talks also covered security guarantees for Ukraine and proposals for an energy ceasefire, amid Russia's continued strikes on Ukraine's power infrastructure. Witkoff is expected to travel on to Russia for discussions with President Vladimir Putin.
The rapprochement is significant for Kyiv, which depends heavily on American intelligence and military support. Both sides struck an upbeat tone, signalling that the alliance's coordination is back on track after a rocky few days.
