Archery Premier League Season 2 begins in Hyderabad as Asian Games stars take sides

Fresh from India's nine-medal haul at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, the country's top archers began the second season of the Archery Premier League in Hyderabad on October 8.
Forty-eight archers across six franchises — including teen recurve gold medallist Kumkum Anil Mohod, Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das — will compete at People's Plaza on Necklace Road until October 18 under the league's signature 15-second shot clock.
Chero Archers and Chola Chiefs feature the Asian Games medallists alongside international stars, riding the wave of India's best-ever Asian Games archery showing.
The league is a rare attempt to give Olympic-sport athletes a franchise spotlight — and a home crowd to perform in front of.
